As part of our continued development and business growth, we are looking for Property Consultants to join our Westminster based New Business Team.

Purpose
To provide all our clients with a “best in class” sales through service experience, identifying and understanding their needs and delivering the most appropriate solutions to win and retain profitable business.

Tasks and Duties

  • Achieve and exceed personal and team KPI’s and targets, both financial and performance-driven
  • Maintenance of database, ensuring client information remains accurate and relevant
  • To build and implement timely and regular outbound call plans to incorporate:
    • Current and previous clients, offering relevant services and arranging valuation appointments for our brokers
    • New buyers, promoting new listings and encouraging them to book viewings
  • Undertake inbound and outbound activities as required to support all sales and service-related objectives across the business

We offer a solid basic salary depending on experience and one of the most

A unique opportunity is available to relaunch from scratch a multi-branch lettings and property management division across the heart of central London. Approaching four years ago we sold our 1,000-property rental portfolio and as a result, have been a sales only business since then.

We are rapidly approaching the moment where we relaunch into Lettings & Management but across five branches, not two.

Our previous Property Management offering was best in class and enabled us to win ‘The Times and Sunday Times Letting Agency of The Year’ numerous times amongst other accolades – and our new launch will follow in the footsteps of our previous offering, providing a proactive best of class property management service to our clients and service users.

The successful candidate will, like our service, be the best in class with experience in property management at this level. They will be hands-on, leading from the front, both in terms of staff engagement, but also engaging with our clients and service users.

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable on all aspects of delivering this exciting and fast-paced department, from infrastructure to recruitment and from policy to legislation.

We fully expect this role to be eligible for an equity share subject to performance.

Specific tasks and responsibilities


Department Inception

  • Work closely with the directors of the business to develop the unique offering that will ensure we become a top of class lettings & management service.
  • Work closely with the directors of the business to develop the structure and systems from the ground up, that will deliver profitability for the company and amazing service to our clients and service users.
  • Develop Job Specifications and work with our current management team to recruit a first-class team


Team management

  • Setting individual and team targets, financial or otherwise
  • Ensuring targets or company processes are understood, achieved and followed
  • Development of individual staff members’ skillsets and the team in general
  • Ensuring targets and company processes are understood, achieved and followed
  • Delivering regular, inspirational, motivational, purposeful staff meetings


Client liaison

  • Have a hands on approach to customers and clients. Lead by example.
  • Be available to provide guidance to customers and clients


Business development

  • Manage and develop our database and PM systems
  • Liaise with other managers and stakeholders to develop core brand message
  • Proactively obtain referred business from existing clients
  • Management reports, ad hoc or periodic
  • Maximising opportunities for income production across the business
  • Let progression – effectively manage the in-branch Lettings progression solution
  • Working effectively alongside the Lettings team to ensure legal and legislative duties are met


About You

You will be a driven and success orientated individual. You will have experience of managing a growing lettings & property management department. You will be ARLA accredited and you may have other relevant Property Management or property-based accreditation.

You will thrive on delivering efficient and effective systems, you will be knowledgeable on the latest prop tech innovations focused on lettings and management.

Above all, you will be a perfectionist and know how to instil and achieve this in others.


Prospects

Subject to performance targets based around portfolio size, staff retention and profit being met, we anticipate this holder of this role to be eligible for a shareholding and profit share.
