When MyLondonHome was established in 2002, we pioneered a unique approach as one of the first hybrid agencies. Instead of a traditional high street presence, we operated from an office building. This allowed us to allocate more of our resources towards effective marketing strategies, connecting with a diverse range of buyers. Our hybrid model was a resounding success, earning us numerous industry awards, including The Times & Sunday Times Letting Agency of The Year.
Having experienced both the hybrid and traditional branch models, we’ve gained a comprehensive understanding of their respective advantages and challenges. Recently, we’ve observed that the majority of buyers and tenants, especially in a cosmopolitan city like London, have turned to online resources, websites, Google and the property portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla for their property search.
While the high street has its charm and historical significance, the digital age has shifted consumer behaviour. Many are choosing online platforms for both shopping and property searches. Given this trend, and after careful consideration, we’ve decided to reallocate our resources. By reducing our high street presence, we can invest more in quality online marketing strategies, ensuring that we reach a wide and diverse audience, catering to both local and international markets.
As MyLondonHome steps into its third decade, we’re thrilled to embrace our original vision, continuing to offer exceptional estate and letting agency services to Londoners.
